利用規約 Terms of Service

1. 適用 1. Scope

本規約は、Chrome 拡張機能「SR Query Builder Plugin」（以下「本拡張」）の利用条件を定めるものです。本拡張をインストールまたは利用した時点で、本規約に同意したものとみなします。同意いただけない場合は本拡張を利用しないでください。 These terms govern the use of the Chrome extension “SR Query Builder Plugin” (the “extension”). By installing or using the extension you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.

2. ライセンスと費用 2. Licence and cost

• 本拡張は MIT ライセンスのオープンソースソフトウェアです。ソースコードの利用・改変・再配布は MIT ライセンスの条件に従います。本規約と MIT ライセンスの内容が矛盾する場合、ソフトウェア自体の利用許諾については MIT ライセンスが優先します。 The extension is open-source software released under the MIT licence. Use, modification and redistribution of the source code are governed by that licence, which prevails over these terms where the two conflict with respect to the software itself.
• 本拡張の利用に対して開発者が課金することはありません。ただし、利用者が接続する LLM プロバイダ（Gemini・OpenRouter）・NCBI API の利用料金、Google アカウントの利用条件は、利用者と各サービス提供者との契約に基づきます。 The developer charges nothing for the extension. Fees for the LLM provider (Gemini / OpenRouter) and NCBI API you connect to, and the terms of your Google account, are matters between you and those providers.

3. サーバーレス構成と BYOK 3. Serverless design and BYOK

本拡張には開発者が運用するサーバーが存在しません。データは、利用者自身の Google Sheets / Drive と、利用者が自身の API キーで契約する LLM プロバイダ（Gemini または OpenRouter。既定は Gemini）、NCBI E-utilities、および NLM MeSH RDF（MeSH 階層情報の取得。認証不要の公開エンドポイント）の間でのみ流通します（BYOK: Bring Your Own Key）。開発者が利用者のデータを受信・保存・収集することはありません。詳細はプライバシーポリシーを参照してください。 The extension has no developer-operated server. Data flows only between your own Google Sheets / Drive, the LLM provider you contract with using your own key (Gemini or OpenRouter; Gemini is the default), NCBI E-utilities, and NLM MeSH RDF (used to fetch MeSH hierarchy data; a public endpoint that needs no authentication) (BYOK: Bring Your Own Key). The developer never receives, stores or collects your data. See the privacy policy for details.

NLM MeSH RDF への通信は次回の拡張機能更新から適用されます（現在配信中のバージョン v0.3.0 はこの通信を行いません）。 Communication with NLM MeSH RDF takes effect from the next extension update (the version currently distributed, v0.3.0, does not perform this communication).

そのため、データの保全・バックアップ・アクセス管理は、すべて利用者自身の責任で行っていただく必要があります。 Consequently, safeguarding, backing up and controlling access to your data is entirely your responsibility.

4. 利用者の責任 4. Your responsibilities

• 研究プロトコル・検索式ブロック定義・シード論文（PMID）等、本拡張に入力するデータの取り扱いは利用者自身の責任です。 You are responsible for the handling of any data you enter into the extension — the research protocol, search block definitions, seed papers (PMIDs), and similar content.
• AI が生成する検索式ドラフトは、あくまで下書きです。ブロックごとのヒット数・シード論文捕捉率・MeSH 検証などの人間による検証を経ずに、そのまま研究成果として用いないでください。検索式の網羅性・妥当性の最終的な責任は利用者にあります。 The AI-drafted search strategy is only a starting point. Do not use it as a research result without human verification — per-block hit counts, seed-paper capture rate, MeSH checks, and so on. You remain responsible for the completeness and validity of the search strategy.
• NCBI E-utilities へ送信する検索式・PMID の内容、および選択した LLM プロバイダ（Gemini・OpenRouter）・NCBI API の API キーの管理は利用者の責任で行ってください。LLM プロバイダへ送信される内容は、送信先プロバイダの利用規約・プライバシーポリシーに従って扱われます。機密性の高い研究プロトコルを扱う場合は、送信先の条件を事前に確認してください。 You are responsible for the content of the search strategies and PMIDs sent to NCBI E-utilities, and for managing the API keys for your selected LLM provider (Gemini or OpenRouter) and NCBI API. Anything sent to the LLM provider is handled under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy; check those terms before processing a sensitive research protocol.

5. 禁止事項 5. Prohibited use

本拡張を、法令に違反する目的、第三者の権利を侵害する目的、または接続先サービス（Google API・Gemini API・OpenRouter API・NCBI API）の利用規約に違反する態様で利用しないでください。 Do not use the extension for unlawful purposes, in ways that infringe the rights of others, or in breach of the terms of the services it connects to (Google APIs, the Gemini API, the OpenRouter API and NCBI APIs).

6. 無保証・免責 6. No warranty and limitation of liability

本拡張は MIT ライセンスに基づき「現状のまま」（AS IS）提供されます。開発者は、商品性・特定目的への適合性・非侵害を含むいかなる保証も行いません。検索式ドラフトの網羅性・正確性、検証結果（ヒット数・捕捉率・MeSH 抽出）の正確性、サービスの継続性、Google API・Gemini API・OpenRouter API・NCBI API の仕様変更に対する追随についても保証しません。 The extension is provided “AS IS” under the MIT licence, without warranty of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. No guarantee is made as to the completeness or accuracy of the drafted search strategy, the accuracy of validation results (hit counts, capture rate, MeSH extraction), continued availability, or compatibility with future changes to the Google, Gemini, OpenRouter or NCBI APIs.

本拡張の利用または利用不能から生じたいかなる損害（データの消失、研究上の損失、API 利用料金の発生を含む）についても、適用法令が許す最大限の範囲で開発者は責任を負いません。 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the extension, including data loss, research setbacks or API charges you incur.

7. 第三者サービス 7. Third-party services

本拡張は Google API（Sheets / Drive / OAuth）、LLM プロバイダの API（Gemini・OpenRouter）、NCBI E-utilities、および NLM MeSH RDF を利用します。これらのサービスの提供条件・可用性・料金は各提供者が定めるものであり、開発者は関与しません。 The extension uses Google APIs (Sheets, Drive, OAuth), LLM provider APIs (Gemini and OpenRouter), NCBI E-utilities, and NLM MeSH RDF. The terms, availability and pricing of those services are set by their providers, not by the developer.

8. 規約の変更 8. Changes to these terms

本規約は、機能の追加・法令の変更等に応じて改定されることがあります。改定後の規約は本ページに掲載した時点で効力を生じます（最終更新日は冒頭に表示します）。 These terms may be revised as features or applicable law change. Revisions take effect when published on this page; the last-updated date is shown at the top.

9. 準拠法 9. Governing law

本規約は日本法に準拠して解釈されます。 These terms are interpreted under the laws of Japan.
